What we collect
When you email us we keep your name and email, and anything else you choose to give: your business name, the lot you ask about, whether you would like a sample, and your message. When the house follows up, it may note what you tell it, such as your region, business type and volumes. We also keep messages and, later, order records.
Why we collect it
We use this information to reply to you, arrange samples, decide which lots to bring in, deliver orders, meet legal duties and keep the house book accurate. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
Where it is kept
Your details and our notes are stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia. Our email runs on Zoho Mail, in its Australian data centre.
Site visits
We use PostHog to see how the site is read: which pages and lots, for how long, what was clicked, and which link or post brought the visit. It keeps recordings of visits with anything typed into a form hidden, and sets one cookie of our own so a return visit is recognised. PostHog holds this in the United States. Vercel Web Analytics also counts visits, without cookies.
Links in our emails to roasters carry a short code, so we can tell which business followed the link and what it read. The code itself does not name anyone.
Who receives it
Access is limited to the house and service providers needed for hosting, database storage, email, delivery, accounting and payment. Each receives only what its work requires.
Retention and access
We keep records only as long as the account, law or a legitimate business need requires. You can ask to see or correct your information.
